ICER is Negative

I hope we dont get sold but it all depends on the offer that is made. JT wont say yes to a lowball offer. He understands the value he wants for the company and probably has a firm price in mind. He also seems to be ok with us doing this all on our own which would benefit us and the shareholders just as much as a huge buyout, but the climb to high end price target on our stock depends on high levels of execution over the long term or a massive buyout in the short term. Buyout obviously puts our job in jeopardy but we will all receive a nice payout. I would just rather have a job and grow the brand while also making good money over the next 10 years. I'm sure most of the reps would prefer a job over a buyout. We understand the potential of the brand. There will be alot of noise if ADCOM is positive and if we get a favorable ruling from FDA. Hope he makes the right decision when big pharma comes knocking. I'm not completely against a partnership of some sort because it will not guarantee that we are on the chopping block. It will buy us more time at least, better than a buyout would.

The expansion is at least halfway to two thirds complete at this point. Probably need to hire around another 100 or so to fill the original quota of adding 400. They are holding off bc of the ADCOM announcement and delay to receiving potential updated indication which wont be read out until mid to late december. Late december is the absolute latest for a ruling but if adcom goes well, they will likely begin filling those final open positions. Dont need reps on ground until closer to that time and they will likely be hitting the field by new year. Adcom happens in mid november.
Really? I was told late September that offers would come out the second or third week of October? Who decides which territories get filled when?? This is ridiculous! I’d love to work for Amarin but saying you’re hired and waiting 3 months for the offer is ridiculous! I have worked for some of the big companies like Novartis and this is crazy!

I truly believe that the Ad Comm will be positive for us at Amarin. What do y’all think?

Very foolish to partner with Big Pharma. Many of us have worked for Big Pharma in the past whether that be in sales, marketing, or payer access. We are doubling our sales force and Vascepa can easily be handled by all of our experienced employees! I’d like Amarin to prove to all those jerks in Big Pharma that we can do this on our own and then expand our molecules in the CV marketplace.

You dont get a choice. When big pharma wants something, they get it. They wanted lovaza, gsk got it. They wanted lipitor, pfizer got it. Money buys all in pharma except job security. If you are holding significant shares, you can win here. Enjoy the ride.

What’s significant? I’m green when it comes to this stuff but I hear my counterparts talking about that more than their territory business.

It’s gonna happen. Once we get this indication, big pharma is coming for us and you’re crazy if you think there will be a spot for you in their company! Dust off the resume and hope for a decent severance

We will hold off longer, plus we don’t need big pharma!

Yes Vascepa also prevents Dementia & Alzheimers but until Amarin makes the right choice to exploit that opportunity by selling to Big Pharma, it means nothing how MASSIVE the worldwide VASCEPA market is. ONLY a true Big Pharma can fully milk out the potential Hundreds of Billions in sales before 10yrs is up.

This is absolutely why an immediate sale to BP is a win win for everyone involved. Vascepa is too important to squander any longer with a half ass 400-800 sales reps. Every week that the product is not in BPs hands is another 192 million dollars in revenues is lost FOREVER.

You must be one of the big pharma wolves hiding in the background ready to pounce! Get the hell away! I had enough of you when I worked for Novartis and Pfizer! We have excellent reps and people in the home office that can stand up to theses jerks and make a lot of $$ for Amarin!
