What reasons did they give you? If it was unsatisfactory performance that came out of the blue, and you are not 50, then sue for age discrimination. your only other shots are sex, race, or religion. Suing the company will be a very painful process. Hospira, like all large corporations, knows how to cover their ass, has a stable of lawyers who couldn't get a real job, and will tie you up in court for years....unless you have a real case, don't bother. Just get what's coming to you re: pay, health insurance...probably 30 days...they will tell you none, and a recommendation from your boss, if he's not a corporate turd......

Move on, don't let it get in the way of finding another job.......

You are very naive. HR protects the company not you. Save that text, call a lawyer, you have your manager and Hospira by the balls!! Could be a multiple- six figure settlement and the end of your idiot manager. Racial issues are a gold mine. Where have you been ?

Are you sure the Marine Hymn above wasn't recited by that "Non Combat Marine" we have working for us. You know the one that was also a pro athlete, can do any three stooges slap stick, juggle his wife girlfriend rep customers and his boss in one fell swoop. Oh that one. Yeah.
