Uneducated? Exceeded predictions? Haha. Stock markets don’t care about past results, only future guidance. Get yourself educated, you fool. Go read a book about investing and maybe even you can learn something.
 
























The thing that makes Genentech different than other pharma is the cult-like attitude that everyone seems to believe in. It’s like a microcosm of USA. The
uber belief in superiority and refusal to acknowledge incompetence. Yet everyone knows there’s incompetence in that office, that office, that office etc. it’s true that there’s a lot of that at other companies, but somehow Genentech just
overdoes it. Like those stupid concerts, T-shirt’s, water bottles, bags, stereo amplifiers, cameras, etc. you get all this stuff, cause Genentech is soooooo rad. But in reality you know that your manager and manager’s manager suck. Your “LT” sucks. Yet you still get told how amazing the company is. Nobody does it like Genentech!

The majority of people there believe the bullshit. Hence why it’s a cult at heart. But they’ll be better off leaving. Even if they don’t see it now.
