You can be sarcastic if you want to. Antipsychotic LAIs are a hard sell. This includes ALL of them that are currently on the market. No one is telling you to quit. Just be mindful of the landscape of the market. This is NOT the 1990s when golf trips, spa days, the ole dine 'n dash, and concerts were the NORM. We are now in a time where the BLOCKBUSTER drugs are a thing of the past. Stop walking around with your eyes wide shut!

Are you just figuring this out? You could have written this 8 years ago and it would have been accurate. Anybody who took an AL job because they thought it was going to be a cakewalk is a complete dumbass. Who told you it was going to be easy?

The sharks are always circling. Fins to the left, fins to the right and your the only bait in town to quote Jimmy Buffett. Pfizer. Merck, Actavis, Valeant,Shire,Lily.GSK, - sharks all and they need food to survive. Big fish eat the little fish and the upper management creeps walk away with a nice retirement while the rest of you guys end up shit on the ocean floor. Enjoy the beach on the 4th and stay out of the water. Jaws will get you !

What a joke. We lost most of the whiners and slackers in my region. A few great ones went, but the rest ran to your ship. Solo territories for someone who doesn't work. Good riddance and thank you for not doing your homework confirming sales numbers / rankings.
 












I do find it quite interesting and rather brilliant that ALKERMES is generating revenue by manufacturing the other long acting antipsychotics, Consta and Sustenna, plus vivitrol. And now they will price cut Maintena with their new long acting. not a bad business plan

Funny you should say that. i know someone who was hired as a rep who does not work. Her co-worker at the job she left said she was always MIA plus rumor has it she was MIA at ALL of her pharma gigs. I guest some people can talk a good game during the interview. Oh well, I know I work. Alkermes is expecting us to perform and if you are a slacker, you need to go!
 
















































You don't want to be bought by Merck... they are not good at takeovers. So it's not going to be good for you. They also sold their one antipsychotic because it didn't fit their business model and it actually did have some differentiation. Frankly, Actavis makes sense. Maybe Pfizer. You will not be selling this LAI at a discount... you're basically creating a footprint for the skinny olanzapine that looks great. That is what you are hoping to create the sale for. It's so obvious. For those of you who got great options, good luck. I also hope you got a good change of control written into your contracts. Good luck.
