New to oncology, just worked a conference and learned that Eisai Oncology is not respected at all. Not by other reps, not by the HCP's, no one. I'm glad to be given a chance to break into oncology, and I tried to ingnore the noise, but it is true, I really had no idea that we truly are the bottom of the barrel and viewed as less than. One nice senior rep said just get your two years of oncology experience and get out...you do not want the stain of Eisai on your resume too long, she said her manager wouldn't even consider someone with Eisai on their resume...that made me a bit nervous. She actually used the word "stain" to describe Eisai a resume...
Anyone else already know this or feel the same?
