Our fate has already been sealed. Haven't you been paying attention. If you have been here for 5 or more years, look around; how many people from your training class or original district are still here? There is your answer.

It's all about attrition. There is no room for the old guard. Anyone over 40 knows what pharma looked like in the "good old days". It doesn't look like that any more. The plan is to bring in as many mind numbed robots who have no idea what pharma looked like in the "good old days" so that the "new normal" can be established. The "new normal" assures that there are limited career opportunities, just enough growth to allow you to feed your family and a constant shift of bonus to make you feel like you are lucky to have your job while the top of the food chain gets to hang out in some of the most opulent places on the face of the planet. Don't expect to feel like to you on some kind of career path because that will be reserved for the select few.

The only career path at AZ is to get a few years of experience, document any accomplishments before your teammates or superiors take credit for them and then move on to another company in a better position. Anyone who stays here will eventually be forced out and more than 5 years at AZ is the kiss of death. Nobody will want to touch you.

This is very true. As long as Frenchy is in charge, the turnover will be constant. He has stated and it is recorded that he doesn't want employees being too comfortable in their roles for too long. If you don't jump into other positions within several years time, consider your employment over at AZ. Funny thing is, those positions we want to go into are reserved for a select few. Good luck in this cut throat environment. What a culture.

The reality is that even the select few have fewer opportunities with the restructuring and will either depart or agree to take a demotion. This culture of me first and backstabbing anyone deemed to be a competitor for their job or the next one will be ugly to watch play out as the select few fight over fewer and fewer options.

Eventually those left over from the last round of cuts will be exposed for their incompetence. Two global blockbuster brands struggling in the US. That is a leadership problem. They refuse to adapt with the market. Spend spend spend on Farxiga and Cut Cut Cut on Brilinta. Manage the markets more effectively. Put the excessive spend into rebates to payers. Stop the class effect bullshit and sell Farxiga on its own merits.
