Simply assuming that because one has that position means that they are they best fit and the most deserving is naive, particularly if you are new to Quest. Most times it is about who you know, not what you know.

This should be a lesson in Questenomics for all. Even if you work hard and do a great job, you are replaceable at a moments notice. Just do what is necessary to get your job done, don't do anything extra and certainly don't be foolish enough to put your job at Quest first.

No not running scared, she just believes the hype she got from Jorge et al on the three clowns she kept. But I'm sure she is rethinking her decision after losing millions in business.

No not "running scared".
Just not too bright. Anytime you have a brand new manager come in and immediately cut the talent, you know that things are going to completely unravel from there.
It's unfortunate that the culture at Quest is to hire friends. Leadership likes to put all their besties around them, qualified or not.
Left with those 3 incompetent "Business Directors" I agree that this is definitely the beginning of the end in the Florida cluster f*%#k.
I'm not in the Sherie fan club but she was the only one that I ever heard of bringing in any business.
