How were Orlando interviews?

Thought being asked to sell a random object in the room was rediculous....we are all seasoned professionals... I had that crap pulled on me when I had my first primary care interview years ago when I first got into this business... bottom line.. if you could make up names and stories to "fit" into those redic questions they asked then you got hired.. anyone can make that shit up.. how about taking the time to actually look at the numbers and references we brought in... complete waste of time.. they wanted dumb and cheap..

One question that freaked me out was had I sold "off label" before. To have this formalized during an interview immediately threw up a red flag. At that point I started looking at my watch and just wanted to get out of there.

They are looking at the stuff you bring in because they found out I forged some stuff.

That's ok...at B+L all the managers forge their reports and updates all the time. Kathy has other people forge her reports and so on and so forth. The forgery goes up the ladder so they probably would think you're a team player!

If they get you on tape admitting to committing a crime then they own you for life.

Then they can get you to sell off label for them. And if you refuse they will send your interview tape to the cops.

To show you how far the company has fallen, 4 years ago I interviewed with my manager to be, 2 days later I was at HQ with the VP and had an offer by the time I was at the airport heading home. Treated with respect, and like a professional.

Those days are long gone.

Bottom line, the place is a mess and there is no question the pharma division will not last. Inspire is on the way out, B&L is on the way out, and there will be just a couple major heavy hitters left in the ophthalmic Rx sector and B&L will definitely not be one of them.

That is how my process went,no cattle call for me.

Warburg -Pincus or Pincus Warburg ,It doesn't matter this is a investment group that is focused on the short term .They did bring in Fred Hassan and HE is calling the shots. So Please Just kiss my ass from now on! You dumb asses are on the way out !

ok you crackheads....so we know that Brent Saunders is the CEO, big whip, and Freddie was brought in to either clean up or clean out B & L cuz that's what he does....he's 64 yrs old so chances are he wont' be at this much longer, but he's done this everywhere, Wyeth, Pharmacia, Schering.....so you have to know what's coming. Grow the fuck up and smell the coffee

I can't remember a company Fred has been involved with that didn't get sold. Can you?

Exactly ,Right, The people in this company who won't see this either have drank the blue koolaid or have their heads stuck up their ass(like the poster who is worried about rather it's warburg-Pincus or Pincus -warburg and that Brent Saunders is the CEO) Fact is that Fast -Freddy is here to make B&L look as good as possible and sell off the whole company or if he can't make it look good :sell it off in parts. That is what Freddy does and he will do it here, too!

Fred is the COB, chairman of the board of WP, which means the CEO of any company they own serves at his pleasure. Fred put brent in, that's the end of that discussion.
Fred most definitely is calling the shots and brent is there to do whatever he is told to do.

which consequently is... get the company ready for liquidation.
