I have found a sure fire way to get promoted at Alkermes. Here are the steps:
1) Get hired in a territory even when you weren’t the best candidate because the SRD is your buddy.
2) Kiss DBL‘s rear end and snowball him into thinking you are competent.
3) Have the DBL adjust your numbers so that you actually look better than you are and can get placed in the elevate program.
4) Have him adjust the numbers even more and take a certain accounts away from other reps to make sure you have a chance at winning presidents club even though you didn’t get paid for several quarters the following year( for coming under 75% to goal) and should’ve been placed on a PIP.
5) Have The DBL make you the regional trainer without asking anyone else if they want to apply for the position.
6) Come under 75% to goal and not get paid for another 2/4 the next year.
7) Get rejected for a promotion on the other side of the company (because you’re incompetent) and then when you don’t get it scream it’s because of racism.
8) Try to steal your DBL‘s job so you turn him into HR for some false accusations about inappropriate comments and behavior.
9) Get him fired but realize that the entire Region hates you so there’s no way you can be made the new DBL.
10) Cry racism again and threaten law suits.
