Yes, this is true, your management are a bunch of buffoons so now Alex Denner is taking over. His entire thesis is that, due to high barriers to entry in this industry, management stupidity can often go unchecked (not enough competition) for too long resulting in shareholders getting fleeced while idiots like JT and KM line their pockets. This situation is ripe for a competent activist investor like Denner.

So now that he has taken a large position in this dog of a company, he will get his guy on the BOD and, with the support of other large investors that also think your executive team is a bunch of morons, start to call the shots. This essentially means cutting expenses that don’t ultimately drive revenue (such as you all), and ultimately forcing a sale of the company to another entity that is better equipped to maximize Vascepa adoption. This company, whoever it ends up being, will likely not need any of you if you even survive that long.

Why is this happening? Bad management, full stop. Denner only looks for opportunities like this that have potentially good and undervalued assets being managed by clowns. A big Pharma will even pay more for it because Vascepa will have higher value once out of Amarin’s incompetent hands. This is how it goes when you work for bozos.

I left back in November but still keep in touch with several that work here. Many good people at amarin and no doubt you will find other opportunities in due time. It was a tough fight after the lawsuits didn't go their way and you were fighting a losing battle. Best of luck to you all.

We have done EVERYTHING we can do on our end to SELL, GAIN COMMITMENTS, STAND OUR GROUND, and BE COMPLIANT.
