How many reps territory?

As usual, Senior Management will spring into action and you can expect results. But first, there are issues to address and work to be done!

Performance Improvement Plans (or PIPs) get a bad rap. Many people equate being put on one with being fired (which is only sometimes true).

While the seriousness of them shouldn’t be ignored, if you are one of the many here at Quest Diagnostics, who are about to be put on a PIP, know that all hope is not lost. You have the power to turn your performance around—and to save your job!

Just think of the PIP as formal document stating all of your personal failures and performance issues, along with the goals that you, as an employee need to achieve in order to regain good standing in our company. And you can expect a specific timeline to complete the plan. Don’t worry. If you’re being put on a PIP, your manager will meet with you to go over it and answer any questions you may have.

In layman’s terms, it’s like being put on probation when you’re in school—you’re going to be watched closely during this period. If you aren’t successful in completing your PIP at the end of the timeline, losing your job and being escorted out in disgrace, will be the end result.

So, if you are a failure and you’ve been struggling to meet our goals, a PIP can be a blessing. After all, it’s meant to give you concrete ways to turn your performance around. Simply knowing exactly what you can do to improve, could be enough to make your way out of this situation. Which means it’s definitely possible to still succeed!

Hope this helps.

In your case PIP means Personality Improvement Plan and nothing you ever post helps.

UHC is a loser by design. Did you not get the memo? UHC gets subsidized, to get you in the previously closed LC doors. We want the the Medicare. Why do you think we are all out there? And make sure they code the orders correctly or your commissions will be nonexistent. Best to give them a “cheat sheet” for that. Keep those government dollars rolling in while we still can. Tick Tock!

You’re so right, this was supposed to be the butter on the toast.
