how many more people have to quit before upper management acknowledges there is an issue and drastic changes need to happen. Apparently 40% isn't enough to get their attention. When people quit upper management uses they weren't the right hire, or they didnt understand our business excuse. Really? If you have 40% turnover rate in your excuses they were not the right hire, then you have a manager issue. but until management realizes that's not the problem you're going to continue to have huge turnover.
When will they realize the major issue is the continue outdated $800 growth rate. They've expanded from 100 to 400 territories yet they maintain the same $800 Two week growth rate. This used to be a two to four year job now it is definitely a 1 to 2 year job. This is not an opinion this is fact, 40% turnover rate with an average tenure of 16 months when people are leaving.
It's a shame such a great product is sold by a company of incompetent senior leaders

OP, as long as the company is making money, they could care less about the turnover rate.

Also, its just a job. So, relax. Play the game. Take their money. If you don't like it, move on. I see some reps stay at Zoll for 4 months and then find good jobs.

I would love to know where people are going to make good money. Ive been looking for a year now and can't find anything. Making decent money here even on a bad year. Very bored and nowhere to grow. Im riding out until something good comes along as well as most of the other people who haven't left yet.

Well said. It is a crying shame. Unfortunately, the current management will never realize the problem. You can't fix a problem with the same mindset that created the problem. People incapable enough to set these dinosaur era policies are also too incapable to realize the problem - only incompetent management can think a 40% turnover rate is normal. It requires an overhaul of upper management. My biggest surprise is that the Japanese company hasn't cleaned house yet.

Ha! I know who that was welcome back. For the doubters, this person most certainly gave everyone a very uncomfortable piece of their mind while walking out the door. Lol
 






So they announce that they want to do something about the horrible 40% turnover rate. If they were serious, they would change the 401k match to immediate vesting. But we all know they are not serious and they will continue to take back every nickel and dime they can from us because they prefer to hire somebody new every year.
