Is there ANY info on duration of this contract? Recruiters seems to have NO clue.

No Timing,
No Salary range,
No FDA approval date

Is it a year, 10 months, 2 weeks, not approved, what ever it is.

Ventiv just sending as much candidates as possible for interviews to "look good" on paper.

HOW UNPROFESSIONAL.

2 year contract to start
HS August 11-22
Away week of August 25
Salary range anywhere from 65-72
Heard possible equinox car
Offers go out this week
Only inVentiv reps will launch and promote
September approval

Hope this helped

I heard 5 year
Salary from 75-95, DOE
Car = Volvo S60
Offers go out after interviews this week.
inVentiv reps will launch into specialty offices (psychs, neuros and sleep centers)

To those that have interviewed: did you have previous specialty experience calling on neuros?
I don't and am wondering how important this is or if they will consider those coming from the Primary Care space?
Thank you!

I did not gave neuro exp and was told by recruiter that it wasn't that important. But during the interview it was implied that neuro exp was being given more consideration. It probably depends on the mgr you interview with.

HAHA no Volvo...Malibu or Equinox...salary 60k-75K depending on experience...18k bonus...3 year contract

It's all in the offer letter and DBM shared.

Several are posting that they are getting offers of 80K and above. Are you saying that the offer letter you received states a salary range of 65-75 or that was what the DBM stated?

inVentiv will get a good contract. they are the best of the contract companies, and i say this as somebody who has worked with a few, in the twilight of my career, after taking a separation package from company XXX, 10 years ago. on my third gig with these guys and i love them.
not looking to argue, if you disagree then you disagree. my experience has been very good and… surprising.

I am not arguing that the company is bad. No disagreement. You might have misunderstood the question. I an wondering if they are holding firm on the 65-75, as they told me, or if they are negotiating up. Some have posted offers much higher and I am wondering if A. These people are lying or B. Inventiv is holding out, and low balling. I am expecting an offer and would like to counter if its the answer is B.

Received an offer last week of 67k, this was 8k less than what the recruiter told me. Manager had no room to move and work with me. 2 year contract. Equinox comp car. 18k comp at plan. Launch product in January, start in field building disease state awareness in Sept. From what I was told by the recruiter then told by the hiring manager there were a lot of discrepancies. Have heard of offers going out at 75, but no higher.

Interesting...the recruiter also has told me several things that vary from this
Did you angle for a higher base and is that when the manager said no room? and if FDA doesn't approve, for some reason, the contract ends then.. Correct?

Go read the Suvorexant thread on the Merck board. One received offer of $102k and another for $80k.
