You need to relax and keep getting paid for watching the sunrise and the sunset. I have already spoken to some recruiters and they all say the same thing, stay and get the severance as there will be plenty of new job openings in the new year. About this time every year, other companies start cutting low performers and the hiring cycle will start when the axe falls here next year.Something tells me you are panicking because you know you won’t find another gig like this. It’s predominantly the loser low performer Latuda reps that remain here hanging on for dear life. The top talent has already vacated the premises.
You must be a predominate loser low latuda performer based on your need to respond. Why would anyone quit the once in a life time free ride with a very nice amount of walking away money? Why is senior leadership still here? The answer is simple, and has to do with the payoff for staying to the end. This is a money based decision and, there will always be new job opportunities but, only one opportunity to have your cake and eat it.
Simple answer……. of course the reps who stay can’t find jobs so obviously they can’t afford to walk away. Open your eyes though buddy and you’ll see how many strong reps have moved on to much greener pastures.

Everyone’s situation is differ. Let’s put this in perspective. U stay for package maybe get 100k if you are lucky and obviously that’s taxed so maybe walk away w 55k
For doing nothing the next year. Now your under the gun to find a job hopefully u get one and in this scenario it worked out.
Other scenario u leave b4 the package n land a job for 150k base and now u don’t have to stress about finding a job and you made more than sitting in your bit of your lazy u want that package. Just me but I was more about landing a new gig and setting myself up for future.
3rd scenario u get the package and a new job but chances are u are going to land a shot job w Rexulti or vray
I retired from Sunovion a little over 3 years ago (hard to believe anyone retired from this place, I know.)
I follow events now and then, so I am curious. Is Latuda going off patent in February 2023, as the lawsuit originally was settled? Any changes to that? How about Latuda's replacement? Still a go? Dasotraline dead? How about the acquisition of Riovant? Anything good coming out of it, other than Myovant? Thanks for any information you can share.

You are very short sided and must have jumped early and now, regret your decision. Every territory in every city in every state is different. You see the glass half full and quickly jump. A few friends of mine did what you did and jumped into another company that has been a disappointment as they were only looking from the I have to jump now point of view. The recruiters I have spoken to have all said the same thing, stay and get the walking away money and when the axe drops there will be plenty of openings next year. It’s unfortunate you have employer jumping remorse.

Zero, that is how many jobs I have applied for. There is no need and I have no concerns about the next job next year. People like you who quickly jump jobs run out of companies to jump to. Your new gig must be a bust otherwise you wouldn’t be anonymous commenting when in fact your compensating for you jump failure. Well the old folks want to milk that severance payout and take it into retirement. They have no interest in finding another job. There is a big difference on who does what with the fall of Sunovion and it’s based on age!
This place is the Titantic! The smart reps got off the ship before it gets submerged to the bottom of the attic sea. Not much time left.
