Manager's comment is " good sales reps find a way to get into no access offices" then when he rides with you and you don't get in, on your coaching report he'll put BELOW EXPECTATIONS because you have no access. Believe me this jabrony Pfizer manager is totally a primary care manager, even though he'll give you some bull about formerly being a specialty manager.

It's Publicis and Pfizer for God's sake! Need i say more? The pfizer DM's are psycho, but the Publicis DM's are just about as bad! Tough sell and not getting better!

DEPENDING WHICH REGION, EAST ISN'T BAD REGIONAL MGR FOR PUBLICIS NOT BAD. BUT THE PFIZER MANAGERS ARE A DIFFERENT SITUATION ALTOGETHER, TOTALLY MICRO MANAGERS, BUT THIS IS A DIRECTIVE FROM UPPER MANAGEMENT.

THE OTHER THING, THIS CONTRACT ENDS DECEMBER 17TH 2013, THIS COMES RIGHT FROM REGIONAL MANAGER AT PUBLICIS

What do you think will happen after Dec17th...will it just go right to Pfizer direct.
Is the drug doing anything? I'd take my chances if I knew there was a possibility of being hired by Pfizer or making a decent bonus. You may say no to both right?

Word is that we will be laid off on December 17 since ther is no reason to keep us. Pfizer will not hire us unless they are desperate and can't find a qualified reps but that is unlikely cuz there are tons of qualified reps. Bonus is unlikely since they always find a way to massage data and not give it to you.

WE FOUND OUT IN PHOENIX THAT WE WERE JUST HIRED FOR THE LAUNCH, PFIZER ALREADY HAS ANOTHER SALES FORCE WAITING IN THE WINGS THAT SELLS LYRICA AND CELEBREX (THEY ALREADY CALL ON RHEUMATOLOGISTS.

ALSO PFIZER HAS SAID TIME AND AGAIN THEY WANT TO BE COMPLETELY CONTRACT BY 2015 (SO NO ROLL OVER INTO PFIZER)

ALSO IN MY DISTRICT THERE WAS A PFIZER OPENING , BUT INSTEAD OF HIRING THE CONTRACT REP THAT WAS ALREADY IN THE TERRITORY, THE MANAGER WENT OUTSIDE AND HIRED SOMEONE ELSE.

Yep! There is no future here and everyone knows it. It's just like every other Publicis contract I have worked on but it pays a bit more.

Difficult access to physicians. Some territories rather large/lots of driving. Lots of pressure/meetings/conf calls etc. Was told contract ends 12/13. Will they extend? Who knows? So far sales are "on target" but not enough! Lots of pressure from management. And how many managers does this contract need?

I've never had so many field rides with so many different managers.
