Well, it’s middle of month, wonder how contract negotiations going? Will I be looking for new job this late Spring or continue with primary care telling me it’s a cardiologist medication?

Seriously why would they drop PDI ?
Our ABM Novartis said sales are looking good for Entresto and showing positive trend. Why drop us we get paid half of what Novartis probably gets and have not heard the rumor about Inventive taking over .

Your desperation is showing. They will drop us just like AZ dropped us. They could of kept us on but they didn’t. Later they opened up some territories for PDI overlay positions. Now have part time with PDI.

Novartis is ready to move on. Do you think it is a coincidence that PDI was given the deadbeats doctors? The writing is on the wall. Stop being delusional.

Yes! Finally someone gets it. Just a matter of if it’s at the end of April, or end of June for us.

How much notice do we get and does COBRA allow us to keep Health insurance while unemployed.?
Just curious how it works haven’t worked for other contracts before
I have seen no notice given, which Novartis is notorious for. I have also been given 6 weeks notice. They do not HAVE to give you any notice. As for cobra, yes, you can pay for it while unemployed but it is pricey. I believe single is about $700 a month.

On my last contract with pdi, we were emailed at 10 am for a 2 pm conf call and that day was our last day. Cobra was $750 or so for single

PDI continues to back fill Entresto positions why would they spend the time and money if you think this contract is over? Plus sending us all down to Florida for meeting ?

This must be your first pharma gig. Publicis, nor Novartis think anything of letting people go while in training. Has happend even on good contracts. Ask around.

positions will be backfilled until the day a termination announcement happens. There isn’t a company in the industry that doesn’t backfill till the day they layoff and it’s not a reliable indicator.

I agree. NVS is like the musicians on the Titanic who where playing while the ship was going down. In this case they are playing with our livelihood. Trust me they know it is over.

If it is not renewed it would have to be in April as bonus is paid out every 4 months and May would start a new incentive period. Just my opinion.
Rumor is that Merck will be bringing on contract primary care sales force to maintain established diabetes portfolio.
Maybe we would move over to that if this contract ends.

That would be nice, does PDI have contract or is this just a rumor?
