How do you deal with the stress

Just curious, when there is a chance of getting cut every 3 months how do you move forward. Not just you but the people under you. When you give a crap it harder. This has been going on for a long time. How do you find a place for peace.

Just wondering

Just kiss your Manager’s butt and don’t give him / her a reason, because they will, and are supposed to, weed people out. If you have been here a while, get ready.

You kiss your managers butt. I’d rather kick him in the butt. Job isn’t worth it. There are many jobs out there. None as good as this part time gig, but it’s boring me to death. Going to ride it until they fire me.

You won't find peace until you get out of the job and out of the industry...Seriously, the money is nice but pharma companies operate like cults that poison your soul...Big time group think - and God forbid you don't drink the Kool-Aid 100%.

The job is a charade anyway, and you don't fully realize the toll that daily lying takes until the job and industry are well in your rear-view mirror...

You do what’s required, know the regulations and rules and don’t break them. Enter calls and do expenses on time. Some managers will try to find fault in every single thing you do, say, email or text. Ask what you can do to change the situation.

You also have to find a healthy outlet outside of work. Try to leave work behind you on your days off. Find areas you can excel, look for opportunities, network internal at Merck and if you’re still not happy then network externally and put your name in the hat at another company. Life is too short to feel stressed and unhappy.

I don’t have stress; I give others stress. Told my manager that i’df he screws with me, I will screw with her.

You want less stress? Act like your partner. Kiss your managers butt , show up at the same offices for signatures even if you go into your partners week. Tizn't that the way she does it?

Everyone should be aware that Merck is going to deduct premiums from your checks for long term disability (LTD) after they notify you that you are being severed in 60 days. Since they self insure, and since you will never be able to collect on the policy, they effectively are profiting from those deductions and this is considered an unfair business practice. If you are severed, you should ask for those premiums back in addition to your severance pay. An attempt to start a class action against them was thwarted by the fact that my signature on the severance document waived all ability to sue them. However, what they do is, in fact, illegal.

I embrace this opportunity. I’m very Thankful for the life Mother has provided me. If you don’t like it, LEAVE and don’t let the door hit your ASSES
