How do we know who our roommates are?

I am not with Takeda, thank God, but roommates, are you kidding me??? Is your company so in financial difficulties that they have to scrimp on every expense, expense hotel rooms? You guys are in for a huge shit storm if they can’t afford single rooms. You can bet on having several more layoffs of the next year or so.

Just curious, at my company, most everybody that has a brain is looking to leave. Are you guys serious about leaving , or do you all of a sudden feel secure because you made it through this round of cuts?
 






Hahahaha, I am laughing, the $hit you have to go through to sell a pill...you are primary care reps now, bottom of the barrel in the pharma world!!! All of you, doesn’t matter which side you are on (Pc or Spec.) It’s all the same! in 2 years if you stick around count on that pay cut too, salaries are only Guaranteed for 2 years in this deal. I am so happy I got out and into real specialty pharma. Good luck ya’ll

I still don’t believe the roommate thing is real.It can’t be.I'm in HAE and haven’t worked at a company that had roommates since 2001.I can tell you that 100% of the rare disease sales forces including RBDs would flat out refuse.There would be at least 50 law suits filed against Takeda immediately after the first meeting.

Wah, wah, wah! What a little baby!! If y'all don't want a roommate, just book a room at a hotel near the meeting and pay out of pocket! I plan to make a new friend with my roommate.
 
























Back when I was paired with a roommate, I would just book my own room. The next meeting he would book the room for himself. We always had our own room.

I was interviewing with Forrest around 2011. Not only did the hiring manager tell me there are roommates at meetings but also during IST. Two weeks in a hotel room with a stranger. This was a deal breaker, plus got an offer from another company and accepted.

It's crazy that this roommate thing is still around.
 
























There will be no roommates guarenteed for the next 2 years. Takeda reps can once again thank Shire for negotiating that their reps will receive minimally the same benefits, compensation, and perks they had with shire. They should also be thanking us for the huge increase in their bonus structure.
 












I was a rep in the 90s and got stuck with a bad roommate during a 3 week training. She stayed up late every night talking to her boyfriend. All the men in the class just loved her, but she wasn’t very smart.

I guess I would just suck it up today if I had a roommate. Or pay for my own room.
