Anyone who is still with this company and not trying to leave is a loser, sociopath, delusional, or all of the above. Companies are catching on to the brain drain at GNE and not as keen to hire the 'chosen' as they were when the cuts began. The Genentech halo is gone - very sad.

This place is so over. It's only good for a money grab for doing little to nothing.
 






It is scary how bad it got after this total disaster they instituted.

The people that left had the right mindset. Those running the place have totally lost their mind.

Those of you that came here from elsewhere, you hopefully now realize the money was not worth it. Having a good leader is priceless. There are very few if any left here. Especially those who have the big titles. They are the worst.
 






It’s the same in all other ecosystems. Sales are tanking, the leadership is terrible, and no one enjoys their job anymore. The only glimmer of hope is that we’ll all be offered packages again soon.


The ecosystem failing...? Really didn't see that coming... We got rid of some of the best reps and replaced them based on skin color, gender, orientation and ethnicity rather than seasoned result oriented successful reps. AH and NO expressed how we were to lead the industry in this new ecosystem business model and change the industry. "We will become the envy of industry, trail blazers." Fools! All of them. Where is the accountability of the board and Roche? Just watching as it slowly crumbles in hopes to be rebuilt to its former culture, leadership and Titan of industry.
 






Don't forget about JF from medical. She essentially destroyed a great organization picking horrible leaders and creating a culture that led to many MSLs and leadership leaving. I think I heard something like 75% of her leadership left. How could that be a positive in any organization. It is likely another example of people leaving their manager and not the company.

One day, she will realize this disaster she created is all self inflicted.
 






I still can’t believe I “competed” to stay here over a year ago. All the hoop jumping, charades to get picked to stay. Being made to feel lucky I kept my job. This place is so toxic and run by classic narcissists. I envy my friends who had the insight to leave and knew when to cut bait. My few friends that remained have been leaving one by one. I’m out at soon as I can. So sad.

Yep 100%. Worst leader that has tainted her and caused many to leave is PegH.

Almost all the managers left, some great ones, and only a small number of seasoned good ones left. I’ve heard from many of them and not one regrets leaving!
 






PH is definitely right up there at the top. She has to be the phoniest person in medical. Good thing the office is closed as her ego is so big she couldn't fit through the doors of Bld 35.

Right., right, right. Ya know. Ya know. She got more fillers than a Twinkie in her ‘inspirational’ chatter.

Huge inflated ego who thinks it’s her divine inspiration to lead Genentech and purge the organization. She lacks empathy and insight and cared less when great talent walked out the door, much because of her. She needs to be promoted out the door.
 






To the last post - you are so right. That was her favorite word. She uses all those filler words because she really does not know what she is doing. A classic example of someone who manages up to make herself look good. The environment has become so toxic because of people like her. I feel bad for those that have to report to her.
