Can hospital reps take pc reps jobs? Will they enter the "pool of reps" that needs to be placed in the new alignments? How about the managers? Can the hospital manager take the place of a pc manager?

You have got to be kidding me! We are going to 1 per pod. Which rep job do you hope to take? What would you bring to the table?
 


















I am currently in the hospital division. We will not be mapped to primary care positions. We will be mapped to an LTC position if there is an additional LTC need based on our geography. We will remain hospital until April when we hear if we have an LTC position.

Haha! Hospital are the laziest bunch of do nothings out there. Not their fault just their products but in no way are they the cream of the crop. And better than LTC MANAGERS? Key word is MANAGER meaning much more tenured, versed in selling, and experience than Hospital and PC. LTC people do more than contract, they sell, they contract, they work with doctors and many other key decision makers who move product. So that skill set is difficult to duplicate. Can a PC or Hosplital work in LTC? Sure if they were good but not just anyone. BG said LTC and "Account management" is the way this company is going as did Andy W today. Nowhere did they say Hospital was going into LTC, it could happen but I think any displaced FLM would have a better shot. I personally dont think I will have a job abywhere but the severence will be nice and I will find a job. People here need to stop taring on others to make themselves look better. Be a good person, go to work and try to do a good job. By saying LTC and PC are trash you look stupid, plus those who talk the most trash and yell the loudest are usually the ones who work the least and are the worst sales people.

Done, finito, finished!! The hospital division is a waste of time considering all of the IDN's and GPO's that controlled most hospital formularies. If you weren't on them, then you weren't a player - PERIOD!!

Some of the hospital managers were worthless. Ruled by the numbers and that was about it. They tried to manage using the same measurements that were used by gen-meds. Can't compare them at all!!
