How’s the Seagen Integration Going?

NSM at Harrah's vs Fontainebleau? No awards ceremonies with Big Blue? No Pfizer logo anywhere? No real science except for bought? Compliance neurotics? One-trick ponies who've never worked anywhere else and are proud of it? Enough said.

With $4B in cost reductions announced, the next NSM will be at the Red Roof Inn in Des Moines. The one this year should have been held at Circus Circus (for the obvious reasons). The cuts and pullbacks have been going on fo so long, the “lifers” don’t even notice.

The "Lifers" that I know are grateful to have such a high-paying job with so few responsibilities. I only know three smart ones that claim that they have pretty solid side-hustles. The rest, to be honest, seem to be pretty lazy. One likes to brag about getting to coach kids sports during the week.

The Seageners will leave as soon as their retention packages expire. External people never do well at Pfizer especially with celebrating lifers' anniversaries everyday. If you didn't start there immediately after college you'll never be seen as equal. Two-tiered system based on tenure which amounts to years not necessarily contributions. Pathetic. Talk about equity and inclusion, maybe HR should take a look at that ridiculous and alienating tradition. Talented people leave when they are able.
