A new Quality Lab at RM is like putting lipstick on a pig. Don't fool yourself this is about is the perception of Quality not really improving Quality. Management really cares about the perception of Quality not about producing Quality products. Besides its hard to build a culture of Quality, but easy to throw a bunch of money at a new lab.
