Hospira WILL add significant value to Pfizer’s GEP segment BUT like I said It Will be SOLD or SPUN OFF as a separate entity. Pfizer’s strategic objective is to focus on core growth platforms in the branded drug market while divesting its ancillary operations, similar to when it carved-out its Animal Health business (Zoetis) and brought it public. Wait and See !

anyone who reads a paper can see what Pfizer has had planned for years, long before they announced acquiring Hospira. Their master plan is to split into several smaller companies, published this in WSJ and Bloomberg for example
 






These C-Level Executives have been in on this whole spin-off from the day Abbott spun off Hospira, and no one is laughing harder today than Bagelboy and Mileyboy!

You got to give Bagelboy his just due though. He saw the future and put the biosimilar pipeline scenario into play! And they all will be rushing to the Bank 6 months from now when Pfizer takes command and cleans out the remaining cobwebs in Lake Forest!

Oh, boy! The last time I got the package it was in a green Fed-Ex folder.... stock options, stock grants, all in place. What color is the package going to be this time? I bet $50 bucks that the ABT package will turn out to be better than the HSP/PFE package, at least for middle management. But good luck to those in the field sales force...
 












If you work in Conway Park, you can forget about being asked to relocate to Pfizer's New York headquarters!!! First of all, Pfizer will replace all of you Hospira corporate employees with their own experienced corporate people. Everyone is replaceable! Secondly, if you were hoping for a relocation package, you can forget about that as well! Just shut up, take your severance package, and head for the exit door! What level of management is in the next line of fire? What is the outlook for the DTS and DDS reps?

All reps will go sooner than later. Pfizer reps can pick everything up. It isn't rocket science what we do or technical like many other Hospira jobs. We are only fooling ourselves if we think we are the most important part of Hospira.

Those senior management at Mayne are the same folks who were not offerd opportunities to join Hospira, as fate would have it, have built the Pfizer injectionanke business starting around 2009, those same people will be running the integration and what goes around comes around and will be very few people who survive, the takeover for those who do, you will enjoy a great culture and great people to work with, for e wise person once said, be care of the feet you step on today as it May be the attached to the ass you will have to kiss tommoww.
