You are clueless. The labs being acquired are financially stable (especially the ones that are owned by hospitals) and pose a competitive threat. There is zero financial sense in acquiring small private labs. HOPE THIS HELPS

This is so full of misinformation, it actually subtracts from the total sum of QDx-related knowledge. I assure you, acquiring labs with sub par testing (in the interest of public safety) is NOT part of our growth strategy.

Quest Diagnostics is the sum of it’s parts and those parts are the laboratories we acquired. We did not acquire them for their personnel, equipment or as an ongoing concern, Don’t let the current assimilation process fool you, son. Based on what appears to be your age, this process has been going on in our organization, well before you were born. Hope this helps.

LOL. OK, Boss. But I’m old enough to be your very disappointed father. I’ve been in the business side of this industry for most of my adult life. I’ve also been through several national lab assimilations and it’s uncomfortably obvious from your prior acquisition posts (and your misuse of the simple contraction ”it’s”) that you are a fraud. A sad, message board avatar with a pathological need to counter every post.

I hope you find full employment soon, renew some attention from estranged family and friends and cease this constant embarrassment of your anonymous self.

One can’t help but notice that absent in your diatribe is any sense of our history or even a mention of your own with Quest Diagnostics. Perhaps you have heard stories from the adults on your team about a time when we were known by other names. A time that was likely before you were born. You can consider me a founding father in our great new organization, predating even the MetPath years, and you should address me as such, son. It is true that you were employed at SLP and I was aware of you from the acquisition and your notorious antics. But that does not explain your presence here and now. Who dusted you off and brought you back to life, son, and FFS why? Thankfully I have bigger plans for the future that involve a warmer climate and a better class of people. Please don’t follow. Let me state fact here. From a totally independent view and not working for quest. I have used several labs for my testing requirements. Quest has to have the worst turn around time for results. The same testing I get every 3 months is turned around by lab Corp in 3-4 days. Bio 4-days and quest could take up to 12 days. Everyone is doing all testing in their local facility and Quest sends a few of the test all over the country. When you are the patient this is very important. I now use labcorp. I am in and out a PSC in 8 mins even if I dont have an appointment.
