My husband died last Nov and I have found myself needing to enter the workforce again. I'm looking at a few jobs and have been asked to interview with the manager at Alkermes. Is this a good company to work for? Do they treat their employees well? I would appreciate any good or bad info. I can't make a bad move this time and Ive heard mixed news about the new medication for major depressive disorder. Thanks in advance.

It’s like most companies. Good and bad. Small company wanting to move up the food chain based on existing products which are good. Pipeline may or may not pan out. Once again, just like most companies. New leadership recently arrived and is making some positive changes. Approval of 5461 is a defining moment as will be the pressure to drive sales if approved. Good luck.

Well I appreciate the comments. I had too many red flags about the job besides the obvious things and decided to take a pass. Sometimes you just have to go with your gut.

What kind of cars are offered now ?
They car choices are pretty good here with a number of different ones to choose from as a representative. The current choices are:
Chevy - Equinox (I think it is the Equinox)
Toyota Highlander
Volvo SC 60 SUV
Toyota Avalon
Some Buick model (La Salle, I think)
And a hybrid i think the toyota prius.

I think those are pretty good choices considering the choices I had at my previous employer.

I have a question for you. Why haven't you hired a life coach, psychiatrist and started taking an antidepressant before getting on this board??? If your attempting to interview for a job in CNS it would seem counter intuitive to be in such a hurry to get back to work while handling such an awful experience, much less broadcasting on CP. If your a sheep in wolves clothing I feel compassion for your dishonesty and pathetic post. On the other hand, if your being honest then please refer to the beginning of my response. Either way your in the wolves den, people do not sugar coat anything on this website. I'm actively interviewing now with same company and i can tell you without a doubt if I just lost my husband less than a year ago I wouldn't be signing up for this position. There are too many PCP's jobs out there for you not to ignore....
Keep it real!!
