Hey Mellisa. During Q&A session with A Keys you opened it up to Q&A. Then planted 3 shills to ask questions. A woman, transgender and a black gentleman. Spot on observation. A Keyes could no further care less about Gilead and what we. It was all about her and her agenda. Waste of time and money

Funny, she felt compelled to say Gilead should only hire women. No outrage, or even comment from anyone in management?

What if she would have said “Gilead should only hire straight, white men?” Same response from audience and management? Of course not, her blatantly sexist comment was just fine....

As a mother of a son, this was a blatantly sexist comment that is unacceptable. Unfortunately, these kind of sexist and racist comments are acceptable at Gilead, and society.

I agree with the first ghost writer and typically would go on and on about why this company is a liberal disaster of epic proportions. But honestly, what major company in 2019 isn’t? Everyone is moving towards inclusion, diversity, rigging the deck, “participation awards”, etc. so why do you think you’d get anything else from a company based right outside of San Francisco

Honestly, Gilead doesn’t really give you too much shit for leaning right, other than dumb little snowflakes dancing about in their $$$$ handbag or men in their cute sox. Perhaps this is a great time to introduce a new word for the core values.

Tolerable. This shit is tolerable. And it will always be tolerable as long as the checks clear and i can do what I want when I want while I’m not on Gilead’s clock.

No, the far left libs that propagate the HIV team are the idiots. The libs heading re who support the AOC’s, Bernie’s and Pelosi’s of the DNC are not truly considering what their ultimate goal of universal government healthcare will do to our industry and a large number of our jobs. The end result will be decreased innovation through reduced R&D. Capitalism supports research. When you get what you’re hoping for, don’t bitch that you’re looking for a job.

As a long time Gilead, this is spot on!
 






You are all wrong, although the person that is worried about universal healthcare, makes a good point. First, MK is a tremendously talented Executive and when she interviewed for her position, that was an easy choice for the man that promoted her. He has never regretted that decision. It sounds like the Q&A thing didn't turn out to be too convincing, but I wouldn't blame her for those bad optics. I have a feeling she was obligated to stage that type of forum for legal reasons and to make G seem like a very inclusive and diverse community. That probably helps to ward off opportunistic lawsuits that might try to claim that G is not an inclusive and diverse community. Second, to suggest that G is run by a bunch of liberals is preposterous because they couldn't possibly due their jobs effectively, if they were programmed to believe that all drugs should be free. Most Execs lean right, at least, on financial, economic, and business issues. Third, if you guys hadn't noticed, the Biopharma industry has been under attack for quite a while and it will only get worse, leading up to the next election. All of you haters and complainers should be discussing ways to be more unified and be better stewards of the industry. You should do that, as if your jobs depend on it...
