Hiring Freeze?

98 views in less than 12 hours? Those who know what is going on here need to let the rest of us in on it. I am not talking about filling vacancies, I am talking about buy outs, getting paid etc.

If this is a bump in the road fine. If not, we will figure something out. This will impact families. Please just let us know.

They don't give a shit about your family. Isn't the first bump in the road and won't be the last. If they cared about your family they would ask for your input.

I'm pissed! I got a verbal offer for a mid-west position then got a call from the manager saying they were putting the job on hold and couldn't give me an answer why!? Said it came from above him... lame!

Would you rather take the position and then be "right sized" out?

I find your post to be false from the stand point that if you did get a verbal offer, you might as well have signed your name. Certainly, only one verbal offer was made for the mid-west position, and you just posted your frustrations. Who would do that? However, if what you say is true, your post was not wise because you just called this potential offer "lame". Perhaps it's a nice way of saying we changed our minds due to...... (you can fill in the blank). Best of luck to you regardless.

Not only will I wish you the best of luck, I will congratulate you. You really do not want to work here.

Is there anyone happy in the company? If not why and why aren't people leaving? What are the true problems?
