Great culture NVS is cultivating.

As we print money and piss it away to shareholders, enjoy your meager 3% raises and bonuses that are down 30-40% from pre-covid era.

Fuck this trash company and this trash leadership.

Exactly!!! Another record setting qtr in sales- way ahead of forecast for both drugs in CV yet bonus was 35%. Prepare for next bonus y’all it’s going to be WORSE if that is even possible!?!? No V&B payout next trimester so what little guarantee is gone and then the only paid of achieve 80% of goal - which was increased by 230% or more. Yea CV is THE place to be alright! BS

Dear leadership! What’s the motivation to work hard and stay in CV???

bonuses are despicable… while you continue to congratulate each other! how about paying out the field at target since the entire country is doing horrible and it’s your fault for this terrible launch and how you can’t even keep track of injections!

zero contests that motivate the field where reps can be motivated and paid out!!!
For a launch brand.. no one is making money! You all are pathetic.

It's no better in Derm and Neuroscience. We all have been fucked by this comp plan. Taking the rest of the summer off. Great job Dez the clown.

Dez and company are trying to clear the decks.
They can't drop your salary (at least they haven't done it yet), so they will strip you of your bonus.
Don't like it? There's the door.
The sooner you leave, the sooner they can hire someone at the absolute bottom of the salary band and make even more money for the shareholders (yay Victor and Vas!).
These are truly odious people; as bad as I have ever seen.
Patting themselves on the back for padding their own bank-accounts while completely shoving it down the sales team's throats.
The only thing that makes me feel better is that more and more people have decided to completely phone it in and live the Dez lifestyle (spend 40 hours a week down in the basement).

Come over to Oncology, if you’re good enough, we’re making pretty good money and the culture has definitely improved. I can tell you it’s definitely no worse then most big pharma. Benefits are above average and if you can hang around for 10 years and hit 55 the health care benefit helps you retire early. Cheers!!!

People will just quite quit. I plan on only working 3 days a week and enjoy my time on Novartis. They will lose in the end.

Wait, what? Benefits at oncology is different than the benefits of other reps?

Oncology may be different - however in US Pharma you would have to be grandfathered into the benefit before Dec 31 2014. Unless something has changed that benefit no longer exists. It basically says if you reach 10 years of service and age 55 you can get Novartis healthcare should you need it at a lower cost than if you had to purchase on your own (if you aren’t with the company any longer). It’s hard to explain but has to do with credits. There may be something in its place now instead of this benefit but I’m not sure. Anyone else know?

the most recent layoff, if you were within 6 mos. of reaching 55 & had 10 years of service, they bridged the reps. this happen to a handful of reps. I would bet this will not be the case with the next layoff. Get ready to be bent over

You all do it to yourselves, thinking that working for Novartis is so great.

All the best people in business NEVER stay with one company more than 3 years unless they are paying well above industry average.

Moving out and up is the play. It always has been.

If you have a significant benefit such as reduced cost health insurance should you lose your job or choose to retire early the benefit is phenomenal and not worth risking to go somewhere else. When you start over every few years there’s never an accumulation of time off or opportunity for advancement. But to each his own I guess
