Please be "transparent" and let us know what happened to some of our DM's and RSD's (AKA...DBM's & RBD's) last week. Did they get severed? If so, then good! Are there more to come? Will DM's finally be required to manage more than just 12 of us? Please fire more of them. Why should they be allowed to sit at home for half the month on their couch while we do all the work in front of the customer? These people add no value!!

Here's an idea, how about instead of riding along doing nothing but getting in the way, they start using their company cars to get out there and make sales calls like the rest of us!! Oh, wait, that would mean we don't need district managers after all. How much do these people make for sitting at home half the month anyway?

Hell, I could only hope mine stayed at home half the month. Mine wants to be in the field because they have no life and want to feel important.
 












You idiots. This is going to eventually mean cuts for us reps too. I heard the cuts were performance based. They wanted to get all of the DM's to 12 reps under them. Believe it or not, we had a lot that only had 8 or 9 reporting to them. I heard the plan is to cut enough DM's to get to 12 people under each. That has happened with the layoffs of DM's that came out of the blue last week. I heard 16 were cut. They are then going to keep things as they are through summer and the in fall will cut reps to an average of 8.5 reporting to DM's. That means there will be about an 18% to 23% reduction in headcount for us reps. SO, you idiots who are saying that's great that they got rid of so many DM's should really think how this is going to roll downhill and end up screwing us. F'ing morons!!
 




Working days in month = 22
10 reps = 10 field ride days per month
12 days per month to do expense reports?? Please!!

This is a problem. My gosh, these people are coaching to justify their jobs. It's so sad when they are the ones telling you that. My DM and I have been best girlfriends for years, she always tells me what a mistake it was becoming a manager.

How about just doing what your'e paid for and move on. Life is a revolving door. You get paid a lot of money for what you do. How much money do you need to lead a comfortable life anyway? Just an outsider looking in.

This move and lack of explanation (transparency) on the call has many of us concerned about whether or not you all are being truthful with us about the "no layoffs planned" going forward comment.

Further, under LBO how will any future potential RIF's be carried out?

1. Sit by the phone and let ZS and associates spin the wheel?
2. Local DM's and RSD's decide who's deadwood, and who's not?
3. Tom and BJ decide based on sales numbers - whack the under performing footprints?

How were the severance packages for all the DM's that were let go last week? I heard they are not as good as they were during the previous lay offs. Like half of what was given in previous lay offs. That really scares me. :(
