I am applying for a FSC position in Texas. How is the culture and what can I expect on base pay? Car allowance? Expenses? I’m going to receive some legacy accounts with history, but will be mainly starting fresh. I’m relocating with my wife’s job and was a rep for small distributor in the NE

good company. Used to be great. Culture depends on your manager. Revolving door of top leaders doesn’t help and the leaders that are left should’ve retired already. Your success is all dependent on how you’re set up. Comp plans change twice a year. You will be successful if you have the right attitude. Good luck!

Focus on yourself and ignore the noise inside and out and youll do just fine

Most of us good reps are looking to jump ship to another company. Seems the public companies are taking drastic cuts, where the smaller private held are thriving. Our new VPGM is clueless- he was hired because he was part of acquisition, not because he has done anything to earn the position.
 


















Henry Schein is the only Dental Distributor on the right path. If you are willing to work hard, you can make money.

Patterson is up for sale because of ten years of horrible leadership. Their reps are extremely scared for their future. Benco is taking commission away from its reps. If a Benco rep partners with their client and helps the client grow, then Benco cuts the sales reps' commission in half!! Just think about that. Schein gives its sales reps incentives to help our doctor partners grow.

To the sales rep giving lousy advice, #30:

“Clueless? Didn't earn the position? To my understanding, the new VPGM is an entrepreneur who took a tiny company from under $5 million to over 100 million dollars in under 10 years. I'm happy to have him at the helm, steering our ship. North Central reps will admit we had to buy his company, so they stopped taking our business!

Patterson announced it will be a private company soon. Why don't you and your good rep friends leave to work for them? All the Top reps are pleased about the changes and new commission plan.

That VPGM led his company to have to sell. The bank called the note. All the reps he promised profit to when he grabbed us from Schein originally did not see a red cent. And new commission program is a joke!
