Hello Mr George…

From Naperville C S O training meeting today:

Syneos Health is engaged in a direct hire search for top a Madison, Wisconsin organization. Syneos Health is searching for a results oriented and collaborative sales professional with a proven track record of success. The ideal candidate will have deep experience working with a wide range of customers to promote and support a complex therapeutic delivery system.

Along with executing all sales promotional activity in their geography, they will have a key role in leading, developing, and executing the territory sales strategy; analyzing key business drivers and trends; building effective cross-functional and cross-regional partnerships; and ensuring execution of their business plan. This position requires adaptability and the capacity to find success through ambiguity, problem solving and project management in an innovative manner with a willingness to take appropriate risks.

In this role, you will be responsible for selling prescription products and services and work with physicians in a designated territory to drive prescribing behavior. The selected professional will be an integral part of a national sales team developing and managing an assigned territory.

What is the purpose? Cost containment?

Is the sales team about to be employed by Syneous?

This thread is more ridiculous than most-

Contract sales reps get paid less, but the company pays the same amount for a non-contract rep. The only reason to do contract is if you don't want to build the infrastructure around supporting a sales force, which we already have.

Nice touch adding another post saying the managers already know. But do really think that wouldn't get out with the amount of managers we have? People would talk.

Stop being bitter about what ES did to you and move forward with your life.

A contract sales force is also used when a product is on its way out and a company does not want to pay reps as much for promotion of that product. This happened within the last few years at both GSK and AZ in their respiratory sales divisions. Are you new to the industry?
