What is remarkably pathetic is that management at all levels have a complete disregard for their employees. With unrealistic expectations , majority of territories extremely large, reps placed in territories hours away from their homes, conference calls to hand hold, spread sheets that bleed into the next new spread sheet, people will revolt/leave. To the previous poster(s), you are correct. NOT ALL GOOD REPS MAKE GOOD DMS AND THAT APPLIES UP THE FOOD CHAIN. The oppressive environment in which majority of the people have to function will lead to implosion/turnover/loss of productivity. Management needs to pass psych 101. Get a grip on understanding human nature and what makes individuals want to go above and beyond expectations. Glad I left. Hoping for the best for those that remain.
 






Agree with the posts about one or more of the newer DMs/former reps. Several of them are learning management skills on the job, and if they were smart they would ask their team for some anonymous 360 feedback, and hope that reps are thoughtful yet direct in the start/stop/continue areas.
I'm a rep- not a rock star, but not a bottom feeder either. there were opportunities to do this relaunch better, but its water under the bridge now. My main fear is what will happen if the Horizon buyout goes thru. Their reps probably have average salaries 15-20k less than us, and we will be the bigger losers in terms of jobs. I know a DM at Horizon, and he tells me that management decisions lately are 100% driven by cost cutting, regardless of the person or position.
Good luck to all of us - lets all hope that we get paid well on options or ESPP, because it will need to hold us over after the POS Horizon lays us off.
 






Although better than nothing the four month severance package isn't going to sustain the average individual. It takes time to find a job and much longer than 4 months. The stock options will help those that have been here for awhile however the expansion force not so much. After taxes etc, it isn't much. Take care of yourselves and do what is best for your families.

Good question. Why is Zipsor expected to simply maintain share, is only 10% of bonus, and Zipsor has multiple reps promoting it, VERSUS Cambia, is in growth mode, CNS 30% of bonus, and very few reps promoting it. 25% share of voice vs. pre - expansion. Why are a decent percentage of prescriptions for Nucynta being written by non-targets that are not even on anyone's radar? Go to your weeklies and filter through to false targets, and you'll be shocked at what is being written by providers that are not even in your data base. Many WHYs. Shame on Depomed.
