Does anyone have information on Mike Billings from Billings Recruiting. Also how do you get recruiters to at least acknowledge recieving a resume, I have been in the industry for several years and have not had any body get back in touch with me. Pleae advise

Thank you for your feedback, but without looking at my qualifications I do'nt think you are in a position to make that statement. For your information the positions I have submitted my resume for are in the area that I have been selling for the last several years. So if you cannot be a part of the solution, dont say anything.

My gut feeling is the jobs you are applying for are not open positions. Recruiters are posting false openings just to fill their databases and hoping the economy turns around. Good luck!

So problem is either you, your resume, or both. Why wouldn't they return a call if you're currently working within that particular space? One would think that would make the transition easier. Think about it. And before you comment, 90% of the jobs I've ever applied for have acknowledged that they've received my resume. The ones that didn't I'm pretty certain didn't want me for whatever reason.

I thought the people that put this site together had done so that others would be able to find help, advice and new opportunities within the industry. Again you do not know anything about me, and these recruiters that you say have found something wrong with me or my background have never talked to me. So I really do not think you are qualified to make any statements about me or my qualifications. If I had to guess it sounds like you are a recruiter and you have nothing better to do than antagonize someone that wants to work so they can support their family. I was always told treat others as you would want to be treated and your negativity is not appreciated so, if you cannot be a part of the solution, don't say anything.

Keep kidding yourself. If you are not getting call backs there is something wrong with your resume. It either flags people to stay away or it is not up to snuff. Sorry to sound harsh but it's true.
FYI - You're either really young or extremely naive if you think this site is one big kumbayah forum.

How about I have been in the industry since 2003 running my own distributorship, so I dont think being naive is the problem age is not either. Anything else you want to throw at the wall to see if that sticks. I just cant get my head around your insistence that I am not good enough, you dont know me so help me understand your reasons for being so arguementative and insistant that I am not good enough to expect some sort of communication from any of the recruiters I have submittedbmy resume to. Once again you have been no help but more of an antagonist, I have more important things to worry about like finding gaifull employment instead of your constant negativity about my question on how to get recruiters to call

To whom it may concern:
I am writing on behalf of all recruiters that have received your resume. We have not contacted you because we are not interested. You are unqualified and your resume is laughable.
Our suggestions would be for you to continue to complain on CP that no one will acknowledge you and sit by the phone in hopes one day some will call.
