if your friend received an offer, then your friend should have received an email last Saturday stating Sage/Biogen will let us lowly reps know in 4-6 weeks if we still have an offer and if that offer will be altered at all.
 




















I predict we won’t hear anything until after Labor Day. They will keep some PPD reps but will likely shift some territories and therefore some will be let go to accommodate some MDD reps so they can keep a certain number of them. They will have the remaining PPD reps calling in Obs and the MDD reps will call on some psych. They will all over lap calling on primary care. The territories will be a lot small than what they originally planned.
 




Regardless of what happens, who in their right mind is going to still go ahead and take these jobs? Any decent rep is not going to want to take this risk. Unless you’re unemployed or desperate….

My friend feels this is your personal opinion and a very unlikely scenario.
 








Come on Sage employees, spill it! You all have got to have heard SOMETHING.
Are they gonna slash the sales forces with contingent offers? Are they gonna let go of half the managers they did hire and are already on payroll? When are they going to let the rest of us know anything. Luckily I still have a paycheck and a job.

It would be nice to know something. My manger keeps checking in with me which I appreciate. I’m lucky that I still have a job, but I was planning to give my notice already. I’ve been kind of checked out for the last month thinking I would’ve started at Sage by now. It just feels like we’re all stuck in this limbo and I’m ready to know one way or another if I’m going to have a job here or not.

Trust me when I say there are a lot of other pharma folks reading this page and we know you and many others who were supposed to be leaving for Sage have been "Checked Out" with your current company. This industry is a tight community and those thinking they are jumping to greener pastures end up losing in the long run. Most of you were leaving because your numbers sucked. You cant keep running away from poor work ethic.

And your managers and colleagues most likely knew you were leaving and in fact checked out. Good luck reversing that trend now that you’re stuck where you are.
