Hanson

BH must be doing bad at his new job if they are still trying to save face over here and keep people from seeing who the Hansons really are. Who the hell is protecting the Hansons in 2025? Real class acts they are, everyone knows how well the Hansons treat people who they can’t take advantage of…….

Better than you in unemployment

good post. I recognize there are a myriad of issues that make a company successful but one can solely look at the stock price as a relative marker to gauge success. David took over in 2007 when the stock was roughly 72 dollars. His tenure ended in 2017 and the price was roughly 112. Hanson took over and when he left the price was 120. Considering the task of merging those two companies was enormous it still needs to be noted that the price gain was minimal in
Value pertaining to the stock price. Now with Ivan it’s down to 109. So essentially purchasing biomet for roughly 14 billion and the stock now is worth less. Astounding! In the same period since Hanson took over Stryker has gone from roughly 129 to 383. Something isn’t right at zb. DD knew the business. Stryker is owning every aspect of ortho right now and the LinkedIn narratives are doing zilch. My view is that this isn’t a Warsaw problem (strictly meaning location of the masses)but rather leadership or lack thereof

100% lack of leadership. Between a few ortho companies it’s the same pattern. Me too products and zero innovation. Smith and nephew just made a temu version of dall miles cables instead of something innovative and new, they just hit copy and paste and expect dall miles users to use it. Zimmer not to far off from this these days, we just haven’t hit paste yet even though we are doing a lot of copying. Investors should be pissed that sales has been screwed with so bad, even our top sales people are taking offers from other companies currently. Not looking good at Zimmer, and as the previous post said, this ain’t a location problem, this is a leadership problem. We took the wrong fork in the road years ago and refuse to turn around, just going deeper and deeper into the woods. Zimmer in some trouble, investors should be demanding changes. This BOD must be involved in some other sinister way at this rate. Are they shorting their own stock? Looks that way from way down here. One might ask why they are letting this happen as too much time has passed for the BOD not to get involved and change things up.

Given the strategy for mediocracy and likely market failure, how did we ever let NN leave? He was tailor made for that kind of buisness outcome. Oh well I 'm sure some other incompetent will step up.
