Yes the pay scale at Grifols is lower than at Talecris. This was one of the expected problems with merging the two companies and cultures. It is clear Grifols will bring the Talecris pay down in line with their system which could mean pay cuts, but more likely job elimination for the highly paid. The job market is very tight so a mass exodus would be difficult since their is few places to go!

So did an Axe come down on anyone today? You got to love the FTC, let two companies merge so they can lay more people off. Talecris has talented sales people, but once again dumb ass upper management doesn't get it, you fuck the salesforce you screw your life line, good luck rowing in the hurricane winds!

Grifols has a cheap ass product, if I was selling it I would pay less as well. Why in the hell do you think they bought Talecris? Another typical day in the life of a CEO in the US, walk away with millions sell off and who gives a flying fuck about people trying to make an honest living. Why don't the CEOs and people up top sitting on there asses take a paycut! I don't know about you but if I was a CEO making 100+ million a year, I think talking a 10 million a year pay cut to save jobs would be doable and honorable!
