What about the surgeon that signs off during proctoring? Some are provided by ISRG and some are provided by the hospital that the surgeon is getting credentialed in.
Love this article. As a former rep who constantly was pressured to train surgeons with low surgical volume and poor surgical skill, I'm glad ISRGs secrets are finally coming out. I remember my manager and director lecturing me in my car for over an hour about how I needed to train more people at an account that had the robot for 4 years. THe A, B and C players were already trained. Now I'm training D & F surgeons. Oh and pissing off my good robotic surgeons. "Challenge your surgeons belief in the robot"....sound familiar. And if I didn't have a good enough pipeline or make my number my they would question my belief in the robot, my job and my character. JL was the worst. Hope you are freezing in OH.
