GPS tracking officially starts this week for OBU

The system they wanted to start last year has finally been initiated. GPS tracking of all reps is now available to RBDs upon request. So if they are suspicious you're not working they can ask for the data on you. RBDs don't readily have access to the info but can get it. You heard it here first.

FAKE NEWS!

Same here...first thing I did when I got my iPad was turn off the location. So nice try

I'm not the original poster, nor am I one of those conspiracy theorists who freak out because Shire or anyone is tracking me. But if you think that simply clicking OFF under location services on your company sponsored IPad really takes away their ability to track your whereabouts, you're really not intelligent, and you deserve to get in trouble for that fact alone.

I also put it in airplane mode except for a few times a day when I check mail

well it's like this, it's pharma, Speciality or not they can/will track you. So what? Track my ass to my house where I will take one of the many ridiculous conference calls that I have and try to take whatever SABA training you give me. Waste my time I don't care, but I refuse to do anything anymore on MY time.

Your bonus checks will be here Friday... stop asking about it... you sound like fools... and stop relying on it because it is ps kk and kc goal to stop them all together or at least reduce them down to nothing

Forget the iPad just turn the thing off altogether. That solves that problem. If you're worried about being tracked then you should be thinking about your whereabouts in your company car.

I work and I have nothing to hide but I was curious if the gps on company car rumors were true so I had my friend who works at the GM dealership accidentally disengage the gps on my company car on his own time. Instead of a "how I need to get better gas mileage" e-mail I got a call from a Donlen customer service rep about a mandatory recall that needed to be fixed immediately. Hmmm. That was exactly 1 week and 1 day after my gps was accidentally disengaged. When I asked the dealership they sent me to what the recall was all about they said it's an issue with the "diagnostics." I lmao! I suppose the rumor is not a rumor.

Good thing I'm in the top 3% in the nation!!
