Goodbye Michel!

Al would have been a good choice. It's the rest of the team that botched the launch.

Love or hate him he's behind multiple drugs and got Audhelm to yes. We may disagree whether it should have been approved but he was key to getting it approved.

He was in charge of the clinical trial program, which is the crux of the controversy around Aduhelm. How could you possibly think that someone who stopped trials early, restarted them, changed protocols midway, and distorted the data to get an undeserved approval deserves anything other than being permanently unemployed? Al is the #1 reason that Aduhelm was a failure - we brought the wrong drug to market, and he lied and distorted everything to try and make it look like the right drug.

Al and Michel are both responsible. Al was in charge of the program and made recommendations that Michel was stupid enough to buy into. Then Michel put a bunch of losers in place to execute.

Barrons, Alisha as a ceo candidate? Its already sunk. What could she possibly offer to even be named?

You might as well go with Ginger if you are trying to fail faster if that is even possible? Hermida!

Just turn out the lights as the last one out.

Paid to suck. Paid to stay and cause damage while Biogen find the next dumbass. Paid to leave when his replacement is named. You peasants are taken advantage of. He gets paid to do nothing, to not even be employee, and to suck at his role.

Simply, when they find someone willing to take over a dumpster fire at 18M per year. Or after a massive payoff if someone thinks biogen is worth 40B. For anyone thinking that, it isnt.

Does anyone actually care about Biogen anymore? CEO? EVPs? Employees? Biotech Press? Its like a slow silent death.

Whats happening? Or did so many people flee that it is just a zombie company that doesnt need to lay off that many people to save 500M number.

Or maybe hush agreements just take longer.

They are constantly talking about it on Stat....but its just parroting what we already know. There's plenty of news but it's all bad.

Let's face it....this coule be huge takeover target with a lame duck CEO that doesn't need to be paid off to leave. The problem is what does Biogen have that's desirable? Is all the bad news priced in or is there more to come?

So Chirfi leaves giving Biogen the chance to get new blood in the lt. Nope. Biogen goes with Rachid. And if a new external ceo is coming, probably ok to have empty seats rather than assigning roles. Who will be evp of the non business unit now?

Hopeless. So still renting Michel. Still have Ginger. Still have Magic Mike. And still have an interim R&D head.

BOD, wtf

Biogen is the joke of the industry.

How do you know whether the new CEO will be external?
