look at the stuff at ASCO this year on Provenge. They said for men with psa
lower than 22 the men lived more than a year longer than the control men! That
seems to say men should get provenge as early as can. Also there was stuff
saying Zytiga takes 18 months to help survival, so for sure provenge should go

Thanks for posting. It is great to hear that the efforts of Dendreon's scientists and sales reps is resonating with cancer patients. Provenge is a revolutionary product that takes time to be accepted by the broad medical and patient community. That acceptance is spreading. This bodes well for the long-term sales of provenge as a treatment option.
 


















Great news. Prostate cancer patients are understanding the benefits of provenge. Zytiga has no survival benefit pre-chemo and KM curves do not separate at all for 14 months. Zytiga can lead to heart and liver failure. Compare that to provenge with nearly no side effects and a full year survival advantage or more if given earlier in trarment process. Thanks for sharing.

Yes, idiot. I was not referring to individual cancer patients. I was referring to the whole group of prostate cancer patients in the world. If BP is selling the product, it will be marketed properly and have all the resources, money, expertise that BP to get it to as many cancer patients as possible. Right now it isn't, obviously. Think if Mitch didn't have this go it alone greedy idiocy and if BP bought a few months after approval that BP would have only sold 80M last quarter? The product is fine. This company doesnt have the reources or the money or the understanding of how to sell it. Are you this foolish?

Great to know. Since Dendreon is replacing terminated and lost sales reps with top ranked sales talent, future provenge sales should really take off and ramp much higher. This is exactly what I was expecting. New sales reps calling on urology and oncology clinics should really drive sales.

Important thing is that prostate cancer advocacy groups are understanding provenge benefits and are getting the word out to patients as well.
