No, Hanson will be gone. He wasn't the right guy to lead any part of Covidien. Almeida is looking out for his people. Jose's getting $40 million or more and trying to spread the wealth.

Now, with Hanson running Covidien, what does Almeida do, again?
 









Does MDT even realize how many "poison pills" (and the toxicity of those pills) that it will ingest due to COV? Is MDT fully 100% aware of the players, the culture, the COV good ole boys club? Does MDT fully realize what it is getting involved with (or are they shooting from the hip blind with this purchase)?

They know what's on paper--- Covidien is still paying out for Tyco mistakes (check the annual reports). Now MDT takes over that.


They have no idea the house of cards they are buying at many locations.

MDT players have to do something and nothing has worked for the last 4 years --- time to get bigger to get better.

This is going to be interesting to see how these sites play out, who stays, who quits, who get canned and how fast.

At least to slice & dice - keep some good COV product lines and sell off / eliminate others.
 









For the various VICE PRESIDENTS of sorts down the line (e.g. Ops, HR, etc.) what sort of compensation enrichment are they projecting for them due to the MDT absorption? I am dying to know !
