Know who you work for and be careful. Recently I was fired after 14 years with GSK. I was essentially collateral damage. No severance nothing. When asked why, I was given a bunch of corporate policy stuff and an ambiguous reason. I had zero to do with that example. Then I was told it’s an at will company so no form of appeal. As a father and husband I can’t put into words how I feel right now . So I post this to say keep your head down at Gsk and be very silent. You never know when your day is the day.

Best of luck in the future

Inclusiveness claims another victim, as designed.

Then here you go! You delivered bagels, Pizza, Chinese, Olive Garden and Deli Sandwich spreads to the pigs in the office for 14 years! Wow 14 years wasting your prime earning years and here you go! No real skills (everyone but you knows Pharma is a joke), you can now take your BA in communications, and parley that with your lack of skills into maybe a Bartending gig, or maybe a Barista....Folks drug repping isn't a career! Those days were over in the 80's. It's a job you get after college 2 years max, until you find a real career. A stepping stone. If you made the path of least resistance your path for 14 years, you only have yourself to blame. Hopefully lesson learned and other young reps reading this can learn from your mistake. Hope you land on your feet!

Harsh, but spot on!

not exactly right. Wasn’t my role. But to each their own.

Watch out for those woke employees who go on to raise anonymous speak up claims on the ethics and compliance channels. You get a teams meeting with J Lord and a company lawyer who won’t share any evidence, won’t share conclusions but will hound you to hell or simply go quiet with zero feedback. I got out as fast as I could, easy cowardly way to raise an outrageous anonymous speak up and simply sit back and watch colleagues implode with zero consequences

The last 3+ years of this complete malarkey at this company started at the very top of our gov. Just as he is now doomed in Nov, let’s hope our company wakes up like most now have

I bet u are not a female or person of color.
White males targeted.
Ok, snowflake. Keep on b*tichin and moaning on an anonymous sit, THAT'll surely get people to vote for your "guy". (Sarcasm)
But listen--- save some energy for March, ok? Your handlers are going to demand that you ramp these posts up, both with the number of posts and what you regurgitate.
Dis-missed!

I feel your pain. Had the same thing happen to me about 10 years ago with GSK. Only good news I can tell you is that keep looking for a new position. Took me 8 months but I was hired for almost 20% more base pay vs GSK. I really feel good at my current company and looking to retire in about 3-4 years. GSK is now just a bad memory for me. Still some great jobs out but sadly GSK has been bad for 20+ year's.

I also experienced a similar situation eight years ago in the VBU when a RVP, driven by impulse, pressured my manager to fabricate outrageous claims about defective work, despite my sales proving otherwise. With 19 years at GSK, they were mostly good until a new RVP took over at the beginning of my 18th year. My manager eventually apologized, and a few reps in my area raised their concerns with HR. The RVP was fired within a year.

Fortunately, after four months, I transitioned to Novo Nordisk. Since then, I've had opportunities for promotion, enjoyed better compensation, and been guided by exceptional senior leadership. With eight years under my belt there, I'm thriving. This experience taught me that circumstances can change unexpectedly, but for now, transitioning to Novo Nordisk stands as the best career decision I've made.
