True, it's third to market. Amitiza is the underdog. This is a valid competitor to Linzess, and from what I have read, without the rampant diarrhea side effect, which could make a difference to providers. I was also told that managed care looked favorable, but who knows.

The skype interview was with the Synergy manager. She said that Publicis makes the hiring decisions with her input. Supposedly they are having a hiring event the week of Dec. 12th in Dallas. I've been checking with the recruiter and she hasn't heard anything yet.

A new recruiter just mentioned to me on phone:
company does not recruit candidates more 15 years experience in pharmaceutical industry
company does not recruit anyone not employed
company does not recruit if over 50 years of age

Is this true?

There are fantastic reps out there with awards and value with 15 plus years experience !!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

I have recommended reps for good jobs in oncology and neurology age 53 and 55 that are fantastic reps that used to be device reps but want a non-on call job for quality of life reasons and families etc.

Unfortunately I have heard this about the recruiters too they don't recruit older tunure reps and have a list for recruiters that says "not more than 15 years experience DO NOT RECRUIT". This should be pursued. I talked to an attorney about this and he said this is age discrimination and with proof a class action lawsuit could be placed on company. I will send attorney name and email for anyone over 50 years old to send if this company does not pursue you for future opportunities.
 






I hope every understands Synergy is looking to sell the company that's why they are hiring contract reps. When they do sell (and it will be quickly) you will all be shit canned.
makes total sense when managers hired with synergy and reps being hired contract. personally after careful research i would not want to pursue contract job cuz you will be looking as soon as company sells in my opinion
