All the time looser. Shows your lack of integrity, character, morals, ethics if you steal $10 Starbucks by having expensed off to Pfe.
No where in the HR policy it allows that. HCP only- thief. You make 6 figures & scamming the company for $10...... you deserve to be caught and fired never getting another job in tje industry again
And I am a tenure manager Oncology manager who has spent several positions in HQ.
So dont play that all me card that everybody does it. My reps NEVER did it and most even paid CASH out of own pocket on field rides when we got coffee or drinks.
Per policy. Hell you make 100k plus, dont loose a job and career over Starbucks, have some level of common sense.

Yes I believe you were 1 of 4-5 over 10k in your SHR LEVEL, but I know for a FACT (from a workstream ) that I&I had 22 reps under 100k in the 80s, 90s salary & NOW the LOWEST Salary after all these raises is 110k for SHR1.
Thus at least 22 SHR 1 reps that were below 100k got more than 10k and that 30% that was reference on the call.

All that said the orginal comment of $10 a day for $5k raise was pretty accurate for the AVERAGE across the board of those who got raises (a lot more of 2k raises on higher salary reps that brought average to around 5k)

Bottom line for SHR 2-3-4 it was nothing substantial or even close to what was implied for 6 months. SHR 1 got most of the 900k budget to get their salaries above 110k so Pfizer will be competitive w Big Pharma on salary, (merck, gsk, az, bms, etc).
It will not slow down the mid size companies like Novo, Abbvie, Genentech, Sanafi, Advance Therapeutics, Biogen who pay 170-200k salaries from getting the best Pfizer reps.
Nor will it slow down start ups with big salaries and big stock.
This project protected 1/3rd of the reps who were lowering paying from being taken by Big Pharma competition.

The I&I Pres & VP are so out of their skill sets with being underqualified and under developed that they are rattled by flattening sales and increasing expenses and lowering profit margins cuz they are paying up to 50% rebates to be parity with Humira & Renvoq now.

They have seen 10 of 26 DMs (40%) leave since the expansion and 7 of those were part of the orginal 10 that launch Xeljanz first 5yrs.
Now the good reps (SHR 3 & 4 ) have been bolting the past 24 months loosing over 30.

Oh believe me YES pressure is on Xeljanz as the $2.5 Billion pays for Derm & Biosimilar also in addition to bottom line of global Pfizer.
Outside of Oncology, Xeljanz is the biggest financial supporter of the company.
Pfizer employees forget Eliquis is BMS compound thus they get 50% OF GROSS TOP LINE SALES.
Part of VP & RMs TBOs is Talent Retention due to loosing 32 reps in 2yrs. Nice idea with, as he said in Feb, "to increase salary of our Top Talent whom other companies are targeting"
Well like any marketing & manufacturing guy w zero sales experience, it looked great on paper but extremely poor execution & application that did not meet the objective of the project to keep top talent from going to other companies for more money.

.

The Critical & probably will end up being FATAL error not preparing for Rinvoq pre launch or at launch nor listening to the reps & DMs feedback in 2019 every single RHU putting dozen patients on Rinvoq interim care program.
(You know who was head of marketing at that time & kept saying our data & trends do not show Rinvoq use-- even saying it in Dec boasting on national call that Rinvoq had less 1% share & not making any impact. Totally blew off or too arrogant to listen to lowly reps who are beneath him in his Trump complex mind. I was on Xelforce calls & it was brought up with all the champions across nation what we were hearing from our RHUs using Rinvoq on easy free good program while nothing showed on data. He was just quiet everytime on that topic & didnt say much other than "we are not seeing that at national level".
1 Quarter later Rinvoq 16% NBRx and crushing Xeljanz as the 1st JAK to use.

Enjoy your salary raises 5k or 25k as we are going downhill at 100 mph now while the captain of the ship is not looking down the hill but rather at the sky above dreaming of what use to be.

I got $3500 raise.
Grateful for the extra money.
Still disappointed in my total salary.

The calibration by HR must have only been with the Big Pharma companies to be competitive within big pharma, as the half dozen calls I've recieved the past year, it is not competitive with smaller companies or biotech.
Like 50k difference in salary & 100-150k difference in Total Compensation.
(Of course I understand business & 30-50k bump would BK Pfizer or force a 70% layoff to give remaining 30% reps $160k salaries with larger geographies)

That comment, It must have been just his district as myself and 6 other reps in my District of 12 got $10k plus raises.
We all came over the past couple of yrs from Internal Medicine.
The 5 reps in the district who did not get raises have been here since launch 7yrs ago & all are SHR 3s making over 130k already.

Before the raise we had a rep in the 80s who got a huge increase-- like 30%.
I was at 113k and now 125k.

All good for the lesser tenure & newbies on the team. We are not complaining!
I have heard this is creating a motivational & emotional fire storm with those in othet divisions like Internal Medicine Clusters though.
Probably overall poor leadership as a whole giving one off salary increases as you know word gets around quickly.
Selfishly I am thrilled but collectively it was poorly executed not just in I&I but across all of Pfizer as you made 30% of one division happy & pissed of 70% rest of divison. And 100% of other divisions

Best leadership would have given every single person a flat % or $ raise. Then nobody is emotional charged or demotivated.
That is trueleadership which is THE EXECUTION of good ideas to meet the ojective/goal, which in this case once again with new leadership was not done in I&I.

2021 will be a blood bath not just pending layoffs with positive impact from virtual business model,
but with the Top Talent Smart Savvy Proactive Talent leaving before the Xeljanz downslide becomes an avalanche.

I ve even heard of Xeljanz reps talking about going back to Internal Medicine to sell the new pain blockbuster Tonuzinab in Jan which has 12-15yr patent life so job security way beyond 48months that Xeljanz has left.

Also the reps keep same salary & pay bands as in 2019 HR moved Internal Medicine pay grades equal to Xeljanz Derm Biosimilar & Rare Disease so IM is same level in compensation now. (Only Oncology has higher pay bands now).
Xeljanz is same as IM as of 2019 with pay bands thus it will be a move to sell a blockbuster & buy another decade plus with same compensation.

I make 152k and got a 1k raise to 153k
Better than nothing, even if its a Starbucks a day that i didnt have before.

And YES HQ totally dropped the ball with this muched hyped up initiative the 6 months as the reps who got most of the raises are not the ones who are being recruited by companies for big bucks.
So YES HQ blew this one.

Some got salary increases & some did not.
It is what it is.
But it does stink leadership hyped up this huge increase for 6 months so we would not interview w other companies thinking we had a 20k raise coming.

Shame on us for believing (only this 1 time, not the next time)

LMFAO--- you should have known better with your leadership. Nobody to blame but yourself for passing on other jobs.

Sorry to burst your bubble but Tanezumab LOE is 2024 so it could end even before Xeljanz

You are looking at the IV formulation not the IV formulation they are trying to get approved.
LoL you think Pfizer would spend billions to launch in 2021 for 3yrs! Comical.
Also seeking different indication in addition to formulation. (2035)
Its ok to be envious. Shoe was on other foot 8yrs ago when Xeljanz launched and our pipeline was dry created 2 layoffs in 4yrs.
