I’d scrap EDCS layer and all educators (OE and DEP). I’d let go of half of the managers who are basically reduced to approving expense reports. Target 12-14 reps per manager. Even with that few, they could still get out with us every other month. I’d reduce all DCS territories to 2 with an overlay as necessary. I’d get rid of unproductive OCS territories. Home office, literally 50% can go. Almost everything is done thru vendors anyway.

If we want to not have to go through this again in a year, let’s get it right now.

I agree with all you wrote above. However, the layoffs was a 5 year plan which started in 2016.
It was supposed to end in 2021 but we skipped 2019 due to Rybelsus launch. Two more layoffs to go to end this current 5 year plan.
Unless somehow this layoffs will be a combination of last year's plan and this year's. Let's see how big the number is.
 




















The problem with Novo is they will keep all the layers of fat that need trimmed but will get rid of the very ppl who drive business in this organization. Waiting for them to do the right thing with middle management since the past 4 years, they have “put too much value” in that ridiculous fat layer and justifies the ET’s existence. Novo has to wake up.
