your an idiot, an LLC is one way to form a corporation, it's more flexible that a C-corp and is effective for the DBA scenario. All corporations limit personal or outside Liability unless the officers do something to pierce the corporate veil. they probably did this so they can pass the income through to LCA inc. The tax status will be defined in the incorporation documents. Maybe you should read it?
