Jeez buddy. You still don’t get it? Hello! You have a Southern California anatomical pathology lab with a KAREN in charge.
Have you seen all of the “Karen” videos on YouTube? They’ve gone viral.

WTF. This the latest in the ongoing saga. The Monrovia lab supervisor, SK, has finally done something so egregious, that the African American cytotechnologist finally quit. She was on vacation when she learned that the lab supervisor, SK, knew of a Covid-19 positive employee for weeks and had not informed the lab. The Black cytotech mailed in her resignation because she feared going anywhere near that lab. Does this company have any policy protecting employees that they enforce or even recognize human decency?

To make matters worse, the so called ‘lab supervisor’ rarely shows up at the lab. She is protecting herself from COVID-19 by working, remotely, from home. (Doing what? Only the devil knows) It appears that no one gives a damn what happens to the employees or their families.

No ethics. No humanity. No accountability Don’t even enforce their own policy statements.

In my opinion, the “black thing” was mentioned to follow up on what happened to the Black cytotech, who had the misfortune of working with this “Karen.” However, what you said is revealing. All that talk about corporate responsibility toward cleaning up these toxic work environments is just empty rhetoric. Instead of rewarding this Karen for her toxic behavior, it could have been nipped in the bud.

Indeed, the facts that she resigned from her job because she could not trust supervision and she did not feel safe at the lab had nothing to do with being Black. However, only a somebody who was already exhibiting some sort of dysfunction would do this. Why would you hide or cover up that an employee is Covid-19 positive. It is a deadly virus.

Me thinks thou doth protest too much. How much do they pay you to distract, confuse, and troll? Facts over feelings here. No one cares about your discomfort with discussing race. You don’t have to be here.

Fact: A Karen (SK) who was placed in supervision of the Monrovia lab and allowed to run fkn wild, knew of a Covid-19 positive employee and covered it up. The black lady who was a long term outstanding employee quit before returning from vacation. She mailed her resignation not only because she was sick of being “Karened”, but because she did not trust the lab to be Covid safe she did not trust the capacity of supervision to make logically sound and ethical decisions. And rightfully so.

Who is ultimately responsible for your personal welfare and the welfare of you family? This may well be a life or death decision.

Sure. Everyone in the lab was potentially exposed.This means that everyone who came in contact with the employees may have been exposed. All lives matter. So, logically, if all lives matter, Black lives matter. If the “Karen” had been dealt with professionally, perhaps someone with the balls to do the right thing would have been in the decision making position. If you are to dull to connect the dots, that is not my problem.

Quitting a cytotech job because you might have been exposed to covid? Um, you are getting exposed when you go out. Guess she wants to do something else with her life cause there are like no cytotech jobs anymore.?
