Recently met some "sales people" from Forest at some kind of pat yourself on the back party. I have never seen a bigger group of pretenders in my life, cocky is not even a word to describe these people. They all walked around like they were so cool and bragged about how great they were. Too bad I made the mistake of telling some of them I was in Medical sales and got to hear about why they would make great "sales people." What a joke your managers are!

you mean you met some "marketing people", forest reps don't sell, they deliver lunch and market a product, and give samples. They have no clue what a quota is, if they had to live on a quota they will never make it. Don't bother asking them what "sales" is because they have no clue and all the managers there think their s**t don't stink.

What do you mean "what a joke our managers are" ??!!? They're the best, most experienced, professional leaders in the industry .... if you don't believe me, just ask any of the field sales people - they'll tell you about the mangers here at Forest.

sure if I ask all the Forest Reps, they will say their "managers" are the best because the reps themselves have been brain washed. Put these so call "managers" in other big pharma, and they will never make it as managers, they might fit it as a entry level rep.

its true, not just forest but all pharmaceutical sales are "marketing reps", deliver food, samples and you call that "sales". Try medical sales and you will not last a month .

I do agree, you do make six figures, "selling skills" you need to good back to selling 101, bet you won't even pass the Xerox 1 week training..people like you making this much make companies go broke, because you are not selling, simply marketing and making all the money.
