Forest Interviews For Sales Representatives

I have a F2F interview with Forest/Inventiv on Wednesday, May 2nd in NY. I will be given sales documentation on a ranndom product and have 30 minutes to prepare a presentation for 2 DM's.

The next step, is a an interview with 2 DM's. The interview will consist of situational questions. They are looking for specific EXAMPLES on how you will or how you did handle a good/bad situation.

The third step, is everyones favorite...ROLE PLAYING with the DSM's. After the above steps are completed and you are selected for the next round of interviews you will interview with the RM.

Offers are to be extended around May 4th.

If you already completd this process, would you be willing to share the product/presentation that you were responsible for??? Did you interview with the RM?

Starting salary is 50+ depending on experience. Most offers have been 52/53. Way lower than what I am used too.

Thanks as always for the help
1. It seems the base is the same as the Forest reps is the bonus also about the same?
2. Is it a roll over contract? If it is a a roll over when does this happen?
Good luck to all

Seriously, why all the ridiculous requirements for interviewing. STAR format isn't enough anymore? I think this is a clear indication that the hiring managers must not have a good track record. Why else are they creating so many hoops? Oh, I get it. JOB CREATION or PROTECTION. MOre work MOre jobs. OR is it because so many are creating false documentation at the point of interview?! Promise you this. I have seen alot of BS out here. And sadly you are making more work for eveyrone when you lie.

I was contacted by an inVentiv recruiter on Thursday (March 1) for a short phone screen. They sent me an invitation for a face-to-face interview in Philadelphia immediate after the phone screen. Completed a face-to-face interview in Philadelphia on Tuesday (March 6). The interview was 1 & 20 minutes.

All candidates I spoke with in Philadelphia were contacted by a recruiter on Thursday or Friday for an interview on Tuesday (March 6).

Experience: I was not told what Forest/inVentiv Health is looking for. However, I have an advanced degree + healthcare & sales experience. I do not have pharmaceutical sales experience. Most candidates I met in Philadelphia had, at the very least, a bachelor's degree + some pharmaceutical sales experience.

inVentiv Compensation: (base: $55K - $60K+) + bonus + commission + company car + expenses + benefits + vacation, etc., etc.

Three candidates per territory had face-to-face interviews with Forest / inVentiv managers.

So did you get the job??

My brother works for Forest and says the company has turned completely insane. He says it was great years ago but now is horrible. They threaten to use PIP's for the least little reason. Sounds like most pharma companies to me.

TRUST ME THIS CONTRACT SUCKS. I HAVE EXTENSIVE B2B EXPERIENCE AND I WAS AT THE TOP OF MY TEAM AND HAD NO DIRECTION AND GOT A LOT OF DRAMA (BORDERLINE HOSTILE) FROM FOREST REPS. THEY ARE COMPLETE BULLIES, AND VERY VERY LAZY. THEY WILL TRY TO MAKE YOU LOOK LIKE AN IDIOT AT ALL TIMES. I WAS SEEING 21 DOCTORS PER DAY AND GOT NO THANK YOUS.EVERYONE IS REPLACEABLE. THE CAR IS AWFUL AND YOU ARE CHARGED $150 A MONTH FOR IT. MY MANAGER WAS LATE APPROVING REPORTS, GETTING ME LATE FEES. 22 YEAR OLDS IN THEIR DIAPERS GOT HIRED ON FULL TIME FROM THE CONTRACT AND I DID NOT. I AM STILL FIGHTING TO GET PAID MY BONUS OWED TO ME FROM 6 MONTHS AGO!! INVENTIV IS WHAT IT IS-CONTRACT. BUT FOREST HAS A BUNCH OF MEANNNNNNN BULLIES RUNNING THE PLACE AND IF THEY DON'T LIKE YOUR SHOES-GOOD LUCK. DO NOT BOTHER. YOU WILL HATE THE COMPANY CULTURE OF BOTH. THEY ARE VERY "PASS THE BUCK" "DO WHAT YOU ARE TOLD" AND ARE NOT APPRECIATIVE OF EMPLOYEES. I LEFT A FORTUNE 100 COMPANY TO COME HERE AND GOT COMPLETELY SCREWED IN EVERY WAY. 52 K BASE IS NOT WORTH THE HEADACHE. I GOT 57 BUT HAD TO BEG. MOST PHARMA REPS CAN GET 65K EASILY.
