Forest conf call

I would think vacation and such would start over since they are technically different companies but your DM should be able to tell you. As for cars, I would assume you get an escape and for the DM's, they have to interview for their positions from what I understand.

Rough all around

To the woman who is pregnant... Did you forget you signed on as an "at will employee?"

"At-will employment is a doctrine of American law that defines an employment relationship in which either party can immediately terminate the relationship at any time with or without any advance warning,[1] and with no subsequent liability, provided there was no express contract for a definite term governing the employment relationship and that the employer does not belong to a collective bargaining group (i.e., has not recognized a union)..."

Save your money, it would wasted on a lawsuit!

So what do you think about pay, vacation, cars, etc.? My boss hinted that Forest may cut our pay on the roll-over..!? Surely they wouldn't do that to us. I have 3 weeks' vacation from Ventiv; hope Forest rolls that over...thoughts?

Ha! No one on this contract has three weeks to roll over....we can have five days accrued at any time .

You are almost correct. If the employee is eligible for 3 weeks vacation (5-9 years tenure) you can bank 8 days. It is factored at 1/2 of your eligibility. If you leave inVentiv and come back you pick up vacation benefits were you left on. So the max the employee would be paid out is 8 days, provided they carried over and accrued additional this year would be 8 days. You can use vacation days before you accrue them. So it is possible if an employee took a week vacation in January and did not carry over they would owe inVentiv money if let go.

Wish we knew what the criteria was...it wasn't sales ranking...bull shit popularity contest.

Forest uses Inventiv for a reason. Sometimes the uglies are worth hiring & keeping if they can bring in high sales #. Forest will take a chance on them for a year if the resume looks good. But if they don't make a difference in a year, they just dump them at the end without having to give them the usual severence package. Look at the Forest sales force you can tell who are inventiv and who were hired directly by Forest. I wouldn't say the employees are natural beauties or even pretty but they are mostly thin, young and go to great lengths to look above average.

LOLL... some joker wrote this... Forest only hires enterprise people and people who work in restaurants. They do not hire pharma reps because they want to 'mold' people into mindless drones who beg for signatures.

Got the call this AM, despite my great numbers in rankings and calls (A targets, sampling, etc) I was pulled from the field today. Still get my pay till the end of the month, Q3 and Q4 bonus but no chance to roll into Forest. Anyone get an offer after they said were not automatically rolled?

Anyone figure out the criteria for keeping ppl or ditching them? Seems random, both top and bottom reps were rolled but I guess it is a moot point now

I was not selected to roll over either but I'm still in the field and wondering why they are leaving me hanging here?

Did anyone who wasnt selected get an offer to roll in?

One guy in my division got an offer that was originally on the cut line...seems like they are interviewing or finding internal replacements for the rest of us...still haven't heard jack though...just trying to squeeze a few more calls out of us before they tell us to hit the road...not planning on working to hard through the end of the month though.

This vacation policy is another way to save money...you don't get any severance and then they take 1/2 you vacation days...
